While I was stalking hummingbirds one evening, I happened to look up. And there, in the branches, was a pair of anonymous-looking birds. Sitting, watching me, in silence.

I didn’t have the honour to hear them sing, but they were two Tropical mockingbirds, and I was happy to have seen them.
